Most organizational leadership programs focus on fixing the surface: skills training, performance coaching, communication, or team building.

When you focus on the surface, you only get surface-level results: performative diversity initiatives, temporary fixes, and mid-level performance that never fulfills your organization’s potential.

At Kapwa Praxis, our decades of experience in corporate, Protestant ministry, and academia have shown us what it takes to move beyond short-term fixes.

We’ll partner with your organization to dive deep and create a path for lasting leadership and workplace transformation.

Transforming Organizational Culture Through Shared Identity

Kapwa is a deeply held value in the Filipino community, meaning ‘shared identity’ and a relational understanding of self and community.

Whether it’s through individual coaching, cohort-based leadership formation, or department-wide workshops and trainings, our framework leads your team through three dynamic stages:

Dark blue circle with white text that says 'REPAIR' in the center.

We will provide your team with the safe container and support systems to name their struggles, with the goal of identifying the root causes and blocks so they can move towards repair.

A large, circular, brown button with the word 'RESTORE' written in white capital letters.

Once the blocks and struggles are named, we will engage your team through dialogue, reflection, and story work to rebuild relationships of trust, reciprocity, and cultivate human-centered leadership.

We will equip your team with the skills & resilience to move through difficult conversations, organizational decision-making, or conflict resolution – nurturing leaders who integrate kapwa into their daily rhythms.

Hello!
I’m Rev. Dr. Kealani Nunes Willbanks.

A smiling woman with gray hair and glasses standing outdoors on a bridge, wearing a dark blazer and a pink top.

“Organizations don’t transform because leaders learn new techniques. They transform because leaders recover a different understanding of what it means to be human together.”

- Rev. Dr. Kealani Nunes-Willbanks

I am an organizational strategist and leadership formation scholar. My work goes beyond introducing standard leadership models or coaching techniques; I focus on the deeper structures that hold organizations together… or pull them apart.

I’ve developed Kapwa Praxis, an original leadership methodology grounded in Filipino Indigenous wisdom and decolonial leadership research. This approach addresses the root assumptions shaping organizational culture in both Christian and corporate spaces, challenging the status quo rather than merely optimizing it.

With my credentials (MBA, MATM, and D.Min.), executive leadership experience, ordained ministry, lived experience, and original research, I offer more than traditional executive coaching. Where most consultancies focus on improving leadership performance, Kapwa Praxis focuses on transforming the assumptions that shape leadership itself.
