three key stages:

REPAIR:
Naming The Harms

We begin by creating a safe sanctuary to name historical and institutional harms. Together, we do the vital, internal work of unlearning the colonial narratives that have silenced your voice and dictated a rigid version of leadership that does not serve you or our communities.

RESTORE:
Recovering Ancestral Memory

Once the harm is named, we move into active historical reclamation. We bridge the gap between ancestral beliefs and spiritualities and the Christian faith.

Together we co-create a vibrant new language that reconnects you with your true identity and liberating spirituality.

RECLAIM:
Embodying Kapwa Leadership

In the final stage, we move from theory to activation. You take ownership of your ancestral power and identity to lead from a place of liberating spirituality. By reclaiming your relationship to land, faith, and community, you emerge as a leader who flourishes as your whole self.

Instead of a colonial top-down approach to learning, our group learning experiences  emphasize co-creation, personal storytelling, and mutual accountability.  We believe the wisdom is already in the room; our cohorts simply serve as the sacred containers to activate it. 

To ensure psychological safety and individual care, each cohort is intentionally limited to an intimate group of 3–4 participants and is guided by a Kapwa Praxis co-learner.

We offer two types of group learning experiences:

TRACK A:
Foundations of Kapwa Leadership (4 Weeks)

Designed for Filipina/x/o American leaders and justice seekers, this four-week journey focuses on recovering ancestral memory and unlearning the colonial narratives meant to silence us.

In this safe container, we use narrative inquiry to move from personal storytelling to historical awareness, helping you find new language for your identity so you can lead your community with wholeness and truth.

TRACK B:
Kapwa Theology & Leadership (6 Weeks)

Tailored for Filipina/o/x American leaders seeking a six-week intensive that engages Kapwa as a contextual theological framework rather than just a cultural practice.

These salons bridge the gap between ancestral spiritualities and modern faith, using a decolonial pedagogy to help you move toward a liberated spirituality and a leadership rooted in sacred purpose.

Graduate-level theological depth utilizing a 5-part Kapwa Pedagogy (Remember, Discern, Lament, Reimagine, Embody). Includes a final personal leadership praxis project.

  • Kapwa Praxis is for Filipina/o/x American leaders and justice seekers working in corporate, academic, and nonprofit institutions, as well as clergy and ministry practitioners who are ready to do the hard work of unlearning harmful colonial paradigms and embrace a leadership rooted in ancestral wisdom and collective wholeness.

  • Not at all. While Track B in our group cohorts focuses heavily on theology and ministry structures, our program participants include community organizers, nonprofit leaders, corporate executives, and those who have left traditional church spaces altogether to explore spirituality outside institutional walls.

  • No, you do not need to claim either identity. However, because our cultural and historical contexts heavily intersect with these spaces, we frequently engage with Christian frameworks, scripture, and decolonial theology as tools to heal from religious wounding and reconstruct a liberated spirituality.

  • No. Our goal isn't to breed cynicism, but to bridge the gap between ancestral spiritualities and modern faith. We make space for the holy, necessary work of truth-telling and naming harms, helping you move past institutional compliance toward a liberated spirituality and a leadership rooted in sacred purpose.

  • In the spirit of Kapwa (shared identity), we use an equity-based, reciprocal pricing model. Recommended contributions for our 4-week cohort range from $800 to $950, while our intensive 6-week theological cohort ranges from $1200 to $1500.
